Happy 4th of July!

We had a very nice July 4th! Daddy had to work during the day so Garrett and I did some shopping then got ready for our friends Brian and Christy to come over with their 3 girls. All the kids got to play in the little pools and sprinkler ball. Once Daddy got home we had bbq hamburgers and hot dogs. Garrett loved his hot dog and watermelon! He ate it all up. After dinner they were all in and out of the water and just played and played. Once they were ready to go inside we put on their jammies and waited for the fireworks to start. It is always nice to be home on this day because we can see the Schempf Farm's fireworks display from our backyard. We don't have to deal with any crowds and traffic. Plus with the heat we can wait inside in the air conditioning until they start. The kids were all very excited to see all the fireworks and even Garrett sat still on Daddy's lap the whole time. After that everyone was tired and ready for bed.
